We are excited to announce that we are searching for a newly created grant-funded position: FRTA Transit Ambassador. We are looking for a hard-working, patient, and personable individual to join our face-paced team! In this position you will provide general outreach to the public on services and programs, provide targeted education and training to individuals on all of our transportation services and technologies, and represent FRTA at local community events and meetings! Work environment will include both in and outside of an office setting (including outdoors and on buses!), interacting with technology (including workstations, laptops, tablets, smartphone apps, and scheduling software applications – don’t worry we’ll provide all of the training necessary), and working independently or in a group/team. This position is full-time (37.5 hours/week), working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Starting salary is $45,000/year with benefits.
